Motorsport Photography

I’ve long had an interest in Motorsports, it started way back in the 1980s, watching Formula 1 racing on TV with my dad. I also remember going to watch what was then known as the Lombard RAC Rally at various places in and around Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Recently, I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to combine my interest in motorsports with my photography. This is a stark contrast from my usual photographic genres of nature, wildlife, and landscapes. Below are some of my images taken at various events I’ve attended.

The ultimate goal, for me is eventually to become accredited at some of the major circuits in the UK which will enable me to shoot from inside the fences, For now, I’ll continue to hone my skills while shooting from outside the fences.
